Limited Payout Machines (LPM’s) are machines that may be placed in pubs, taverns, social clubs where a strict criteria is met by the owner of the premises. Generally, up to 5 machines may be placed in a licensed premises (but this can be up to 40 under certain conditions) and Goldrush place the slot machines on a revenue share basis. Goldrush have licenses to distribute and operate LPM’s in several provinces.

Under a very tough bidding process, the company was awarded a route operator licence in Gauteng to operate 1,000 LPM’s (being honored with No.1 bidder status in the process) and the first Limited Payout Machines went live in mid-2009. Subsequently, further route operator licences were won in the North-West Province, Free State and Limpopo Province.
